There are so many things to do in Pigeon Forge, TN, making it a great family destination anytime of year.
The area, which also includes Sevierville to the north and Gatlinburg to the south, offers a range of accommodation types depending on your needs.
Some folks love to head to the Smoky Mountains so they can go rustic in a log cabin, while others want to stay in ultimate comfort at a top-notch hotel. You have plenty of options for both, as well as a variety of choices in between.
Here are some of the top options for Pigeon Forge Cabin Rentals and Hotels.
A simple system to use miles & points with the support you need for success...
Introducing Families Fly Free, a program I created to teach my simple, step-by-step Fly Free Formula™ to use miles and points to always fly yourself and everyone in your group FREE.
Inside the program, you'll learn my no-hassle Fly Free Formula™ and receive a custom plan for your family. Plus, you'll receive the 1-on-1 and community support, as well as the real time changing information you need to be successful year after year. This simple system has worked for my family of 4 since 2015 (saving us $100,000+ on travel) and how now worked for nearly 1,000 families.
If you wish miles and points could be simpler, you're just getting started or you'd love a process to follow guided by an expert instead of taking a scattered approach, Families Fly Free is for you. Learn more HERE.
But... the price of my Families Fly Free membership is increasing on October 29! Get all the same value BEFORE the price goes up by joining by October 28 at midnight ET...
Pigeon Forge Cabin Rentals and Hotels
Take a look at some of my favorite options in the Pigeon Forge area below.
Margaritaville Island Hotel

The Margaritaville Island Hotel makes a great spot for exploring all Pigeon Forge has to offer. This is where we personally stayed during our visit, checking it out firsthand, and we absolutely loved it!
Rooms are spacious and tropical-themed. There’s a seasonal pool, and we got a real kick out of the dancing parrot in the lobby. I loved the decor, which I shall describe as “modern tropical.” 🙂
We’ve also stayed at the Margaritaville in Hollywood, Florida, which is much larger, but also really nice.
The Inn at Christmas Place

Surround yourself in Christmas your entire stay at the super-cozy Inn at Christmas Place. It’s one of the more unique hotels I’ve ever seen, and I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels! We personally checked it out as well, so we could bring you a review.
Hotel amenities include an indoor pool with hot tub, seasonal outdoor pool with water slide, free hot breakfast daily, landscaped grounds with a garden and pond, and a fitness center. Rooms all come decorated for Christmas, and some have balconies and fireplaces.
Don’t miss the Glockenspiel clock in the lobby, which plays bells hourly.
Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort

The lovely Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort offers indoor and outdoor pools, views of the mountains and free transportation to and from the theme park, for a super-convenient stay if you’ll be visiting Dollywood during your visit.
The resort also has a spa, a Southern restaurant, kids camp, game room, fitness center and playground to keep you entertained when you’re not having a ball at Dollywood.
Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Cabins

For a more rustic stay, rent one of Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Cabins that range in size from a comfy cabin for two to one that can sleep up to 30! Many include kitchens, gas fireplaces, game rooms, outdoor hot tubs, indoor whirlpool spas and more.
When renting a cabin, you can purchase a Length of Stay pass with unlimited admission to Dollywood for the extent of the guest’s stay, as well as receive free parking.
Comfort Inn Apple Valley (Sevierville)

While this property is technically in Sevierville, it sits right at the border between Sevierville and Pigeon Forge and is an incredibly affordable option.
My son and I personally stayed at the Inn at Apple Valley for a football tournament in Tennessee and were pleasantly surprised by the top-notch accommodations at this affordable chain (Choice Inn). I can tell you firsthand that the double rooms here are very large with in-room fridges and a nice desk area and seating area. Some rooms have Jacuzzis if you’d like.
It also has an indoor and outdoor pool, community washer and dryers (handy for muddy football uniforms!), a free hot breakfast daily (I always go for the waffle maker!), free parking and free WiFi.
