If you want to be close to Sylvan Lake and the best hiking trails in Custer State Park, a Sylvan Lake Lodge cabin is a great choice.

The cabin was cozy with all the amenities you need including a cooktop, mini fridge, microwave, dishes, coffee pot, small table and chairs and even a TV. Rounding out the amenities were 2 chairs on the covered porch, a picnic table and even a fire ring with wood provided.

Also on site, you’ll find a restaurant in the lodge and a store. Take a swim or rent a kayak or SUP for a paddle around this gorgeous lake which is right on the famed Needles Highway with its iconic Needles Eye Tunnel and nearby Cathedral Spires hike. It’s all a short drive from the wildlife loop where a herd of 1500 bison and begging burros hang out.
